A stinging pain comes to me
every time I hear the need for these,
for they convey of it’s handcuffs
its bosom bleak, only if could be a guff
take a stride can you feel it beneath you?
it walks, it breathes with you, for you,
holds you, embraces all of you, eternity, for you are it
A mere look, beguiled
at its infuriating generosity
for in my eyes itself, it chastised
why mortals hold no ground
it supports us, not we
Nevertheless, with it’s infinite possibilities lays stretched like the vast inviting sea
these abhorrent atrocities man is enticed with
for now he thinks it is bliss
only if it would raise the drooping head
lying ahead would be death’s kiss
restoration of earth, nay
why deceive
it is what restoring broken blemished man’s offspring
